Hessi von Lancaster is a stunning 3 year old long haired sable German Shepherd. No, she's not half lion though we admit she has a gorgeous mane. When our volunteers approach her kennel, she welcomes them with wags of her tail and licks their hands through the gate. She walks like a lady on the leash and does well in a pack with 6 other dogs. Hessi is a happy, friendly girl who likes to play and loves to be petted. One of her favorite pastimes is splashing in the kiddie pool. Hessi has a quiet self-confidence and is comfortable in just about any situation.
